The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Magnum. The contact stated the vehicle would roar and then decelerate when attempting to accelerate from a stop. The dealer performed a software update however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken to the dealer a second time and the contact was informed that she needed to replace the actuator idle sensor and the upper intake manifold. The vehicle was also taken to a private mechanic who informed the contact that the vehicle was unsafe to drive. No repairs were performed. The manufacturer was aware of the failure.
