I have a 1996 Dodge Ram the hood flew up and damaged the hood & grill and brackets. There was a recall on my hood latch, all they want to do is replace the latch and the brackets is this right, don't they have to fix the damaged parts caused by the defective part? I was never notified of the recall because I was the 2nd owner and never in there system.
The front grill on the hood has plastic fasteners that hold the grill onto the hood. These fastners are breaking as normal wear and tear. Dodge dealership said that this is a common defect. A potential deadly hazard considering the location of the defect.
