The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500. While driving approximately 45 mph, the driver side low beam headlight failed to illuminate without warning. The contact also stated that the driver side high beam light would not illuminate unless the contact held down the high beam control. The failure recurred each time the high beam and low beam headlights were engaged. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the tipm failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 90,000. Updated 09/10/15
The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 megacab. The contact stated while driving at night, the exterior lights would flicker on and off and sometimes they would go from bright to dim. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 33,000 and the current mileage was 41,822. Updated 02/01/12 updated 02/08/12
