The Remote Key-less Entry Faux Pas is real thorn in my butt. I have gone through 4. That is 4 keys at $150 plus $50 dollars to program. The first one was replaced by the company. The other 3 I had to pay for out of my pocket. After the first one went bad I was very careful with them because of the expense. Now the 4th one has died!!!!!!! Until I can get the Security System disarmed I have disconnected the horns. So now that the key does not work I can not use it to lock/unlock the doors, lower the windows, or even use the remote start. These keys are pieces of junk. If they were a more reasonable cost it would not be so bad. I am sure it cost them pennies the produce but it has cost me $600. If you are going to provide these keys at that price they should be more reliable.

Key fob shorted out. Piece inside came loose due to corrosion. Had to switch to back up fob. Now that one seems to be starting to fail too. Last 3 cars, I never had an issue with any alarm fob once....

When the truck is turned off and I touch my key fob, the windows come down. I come out from work some days and my windows are partially down. It happens both when the truck has been sitting for a while and I am approaching my car to get in and sometimes after I get out of my truck and use the key fob to lock it. The windows may come down. I have to go back to the truck put the windows back up and lock the truck at the door panel.

I owna 2009 Dodge Ram 1500. The contact stated that key fob is operating the power windows and unlocking the vehicle on its own. I have gone outside and my windows were halfway down. Have not yet taken vehicle to dealership yet. Going to check the FOB for weak battery.
