Our Fiat 500L Easy was purchased new 10/2014. We've experienced a few problems with this vehicle but one stands out more than the others. For some time we've been experiecning a foul smell coming from the air vents inside the car. Eventually as time went on the smell progressed. Actually one specific time was highlighted by my mother when I had gone to her house to pick up some bags of clothes. She noticed a spetic smell and said your car stinks!! I drive the car mainly but sometimes my husband will get in the car and state the inside smells like poop!

OK so fast forward to 9/12/2015 we were in traffic in NYC when an unbearable, nauseating, rotten burning smell was detected and I thought it was the food from restaurants outside. While continuing in the bumper to bumper traffic a girl walked in front of our vehicle and waived her hand as if saying the car smelled. The transmission was acting up as well, as far as engaging and shuttering. (shuttering and trans problems have always been a problem but this time was worse). Eventually we had to pull over in traffic in NYC and get out of the car because my husband felt like vomiting and needed fresh air. It was HORRIBLE and just got worse and progressed!! My husband didn't know if it was the exhaust, brakes, or what? Is this foul odor unhealthy to breath in? Please Help!!!!
