- Summary
- Some 2019 Edge vehicles built on or before 06-Mar-2019 may exhibit a popping or snapping noise from the rear of the vehicle when the liftgate is opened or closed. This may be due to reversing lamp close out interference caused by the securing tabs. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure steps to replace the reversing lamp close out. A lower level service part has been released. Replacement of the reversing lamp assembly is not required. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure steps on vehicles that meet the following criteria: * 2019 Edge * Built on or before 06-Mar-2019 * Popping/snapping noise when opening or closing the liftgate
