This is NOT the engine failure at speed. This is a different issue entirely. No codes show up, so not entirely sure what the fix is. The issue is that the car fails to accelerate and I'm not talking hesitation, it is as though only 5 percent throttle is allowed. Scary as hell. Had an intake control module replaced (for big $$) but that didn't fix it. Then I did a standard tune up (plugs, wires, etc.) and it seemed to go away. It came back once or twice and then cleared again on its own. Something is wrong with the throttle by wire system, but can't seem to nail it down. Anyone else seen this?
