This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
Seat headrest protrudes too much out of the seat and it pushes forward head of some drivers. The only adjustments available (slide up and down, tilt top forward) do nothing to alleviate the issue. The lack of ability to "scoot" the entire headrest backwards causes back and neck pain while driving for as little as 10 minutes. One solution people are resorting to is to re-insert the headrest backwards, but the tilting mechanism prevent the head from being stopped and sent backwards in the event of an accident. Another solution is to recline the seat back so much that your back is no longer supported. Again a safety issue. When hitting small imperfection on the road, even in dry weather, the vehicle feels as if it's about to fishtail. Some people have mention the suspension is too slow to compensate for bumps and thus the tire, for a small amount of time, does lose contact with the road.
