I know one thing when buying a vehicle you need to do your research. My A/C blows cold but when the car is idling and not in motion it blows out hot air. I had it fixed, I thought it cost me $ 750.00 dollars. I've also noticed is when the A/C is on and when I put the car in reverse the car begins to jerk real hard, that can cause an accident, I don't need that. I was so frustrated with the air but I 've learned to deal. There's one thing I know about a FORD is don't buy one.

I'm a windows down guy when I drive (so it didn't fully bother me) but it became really annoying when I had guests riding with me then I really was pissed! As far as Ford goes I have been, currently am and will always be a Ford dude!!! The parts of a car is only parts and not the whole car. Since I got the A/C fixed in 2012 its been cooling fine ever since!

This is the second time in 2 years that the AC has stopped working when the car idles. I have to be driving on the interstate for a good 10 minutes before the AC even starts to cool. I'm taking it in to be looked at this week but am preparing myself for being told that the compressor is on its last leg.

The AC quote "works" according to dealership...however it puts out such little cold air that I literally drive with the windows downs when it is 90 and 100 degrees out....in other words it is hotter in the car to run the a/c than to put windows down. I have had it charged and checked for leaks. no leak and full charge... It simply does NOT put out cold air. Thanks Ford!!

I have had numerous problems with this car, but this one takes the cake! At the start of summer it started with a/c blowing a little warm at stops. Now the only way to get it cool in the car is to be going down the road at a good pace. I tried recharging with sealer and that did not work (made it a little cooler going down the road, but that was it.) I have read where the cost for a new compressor/labor is over a $1000.00.
