"takata recall"my car was involved in a fender bender with the air bag not deploying, prior to that the check airbag light remained on. The marlow auto body collision center located in oxon hill Maryland did try to look at it as to why I did not turn off, they even replaced the fuse, however I received a letter in the mail informing me there was a recall. I have contacted and tried to bring the vehicle into Ford located in camp springs Maryland on several occasions and they stated they never received the part and they were unable to accommodate my repair. I have since went back to marlow auto body this year 2018 for help but they stated I should contact the nhts to complain.

Keep going to dealer to have car fixed an they keep putting it off. This has been going on for 4 years. Keep getting letters from Ford Motor Company to get them fixed but the dealer keeps saying they have none. They have to wait for the3M to come in. Got a letter from Ford Motor Company on June 18th to take my car into the Ford dealer and I would be able to rent a car. For4rd would pay for $30 a day for this rental until my car was fixed. Dealer says they can can't do it. Ford motors says that the car should not be driven for it is not safe.

Takata recall - I have phoned the local Ford dealer several times regarding the recall for my 2007 Ford Fusion & there is no parts available to fix the recall. It has been about 2 years now & still no parts available. When I went to file a claim today on the website www.autobirbagsettlement.com, as this is the deadline to file claim for class action, it tells me I am not eligible to file a claim, although it shows my vehicle is affected.

I work in production and the pills nor the shoots helped. I was in a lot of pain when I return to the job. I ended up quiting because of the pain. I changed my job and since I still have difficulty's when it's swollen with sharp pain. I'm very scary to drive my vehicle since the accident..

Takata recall I was first notified of the airbag recall in March of 2017. I find it hard to believe that parts are still not available. When will the airbag issue be addressed by Ford? once this and the likely ABS recall are addressed, if ever, I would like to sell my vehicle, but cannot do so in the mean time because I do not want someone to get injured or killed.

Since purchasing the vehicle from gresham Ford on 12/10/16, there have been three separate occasions when the vehicle lost control while braking and did not stop when expected. I was very fortunate to avoid collisions on all three occasions. The first incident occurred on 7/28/17. The roads were dry. I was driving on the interstate at highway speed when I saw stopped traffic ahead and had to stop quickly. I had plenty of time to slow down and stop, however, when I applied the brakes, the tires squealed, vehicle skidded and actually left tire marks on the road and I was very close to not being able to stop in time. I took the Ford in to gresham Ford to get the brakes checked the next day and was told by a service tech. That the brakes were fine, but that I might want to get the ABS checked out. The next incident occurred on January 11, 2018, when I was driving on the interstate, traveling at 60 mph in the rain. I tapped the brakes lightly as I entered into some water that had pooled (not deeply) on the roads. My car completely lost control and started hydroplaning. I could not pull out of the hydroplane for 20-30 seconds. My car was pulling towards the exterior guardrail for some time and then suddenly it was as if someone grabbed my steering wheel and pulled it as hard as they could to the left. I started traveling diagonally across lanes of traffic, but was able to recover because the vehicle stopped hydroplaning at that point. The third incident occurred on October 26, 2018. I was going about 40-45. It was raining, but not enough to hydroplane. The stoplight turned yellow and I knew I didn't have time to make it through before it turned red. I had to stop quickly, but when I did, instead of stopping, my vehicle began skidding (not hydroplaning) and sliding forward. The car was difficult to control and was pulling me toward the left lane.

Takata recall. I received a letter stating that my airbags were available and to contact my dealer. Unfortunately, I am a military members and am stationed overseas. I called Ford direct in the states and the dealer I bought my car from as well. Ford direct to led me to call Ford direct in spain and they could not help me with my car. Ford direct spain said the campaign is not going on in europe and they would contact me if it started. I also called a Ford rep in germany that the local dealer to me to call and they said they could not get me the part. The fix is to not sit anyone in the front seat of the car. All I want is to work with a dealer in the states to ship (by boat if need be) the part to th dealer here. They said they would be happy to fix it once it was here. Ford does not seem to care to do anything to help me with making my car safe to drive other than giving me a phone number of the company here. Is there any way to help support military members affected by the recall who are stationed overseas or am I to deal with this issue for 3 to 4 more years till I get to the states?
