I parked my car in the garage and tried opening the driver side door. But the handle and lock would not work. So I have to roll down the window and open the door from the outside. Also the driver door will not lock. This is a very serious security issue. I was told that it was not covered under warranty but I didn't do anything to cause this. It is just very cheap parts and poorly designed.
I had stopped at a convenience store and when I tried to open the door the door handle wouldn't unlock. I had to climb out through the passenger side. I could open the door from the outside. This is the 2nd time the handle has broken. The first time was within the 1st year I purchased the car. I have taken it to the dealer to look at. Seems this is a recurring problem with this car.
