While driving my vehicle on the freeway at a speed of 60 miles an hour my vehicle seemed to downshift into first gear. This nearly caused me to crash. In addition, those driving behind me almost rear-ended me.

I bought a used 2013 V6 Ford Mustang used in August 2019. Almost since the begining I've had a problem with it stalling out. The engine itself doesn't stop running but the car loses acceleration and it does not accelerate when the gas is pressed. This has mostly happened when the car is in motion but has also happened when not moving. It has happened mostly while on city streets. This has today I had a problem with this and the check engine light came on. I put a code reader on the port and received the code "P2111 throttle actuator control system stuck open." I believe this is the same problem that was alleged with the 2005-2012 Ford escape vehicle. My 2013 Ford Mustang feels as if it drops into 1st gear while at a speed of 40 to 60 mph feels as if the car brakes on its own rpms will go up but speedometer will be on 0 mph. I think the F 150 is having a similar problem and my Mustang does have the V6 automatic transmission

For 5 months our 2013 Ford Mustang has been shutting off in traffic. The car was taken back to the dealer five times and not fixed yet. The mechanic put the car on the computer and error code P2111 shows up, but when taken back to dealer they cleared the code and said nothing was wrong.

Under medium to hard acceleration exhaust fumes enter the cabin, possible exhaust defect in exhaust manifold, smells like raw fumes not passed thru catalytic converter. Widows are closed during acceleration.usually when accelerating onto highway etc. It does this every time I drive it. Not an occasional thing always.

The contact owns a 2013 Ford Mustang. While driving 50 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. The contact called a local dealer (spikes Ford located at 805 E interstate highway 2 mission, tx 78572) who informed him to bring them the vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but offered no assistance. The failure mileage was 55,000.

My vehicle has failed without warning four times in the past 3 months. Once the vehicle fails it is in a no-start condition. Furthermore, there is random stalling when I'm driving the vehicle and the has been for quite some time. Once in the vehicle fails it will not restart. The first time my car failed was upon startup when I was at work for 4 hours. I came out to my car to start it and it would not start. The second time my vehicle failed it was without warning while driving in traffic, again would not start. The third time my car failed was like the first time after being at work for 4 hours, upon trying to start my car, it would not start. The 4th time my vehicle failed again without warning and this time I was merging on a busy highway during rush hour. Per the mechanics diagnostic - code P025A fuel pump driver module open circuit.

No acceleration possible. Fuel cut out. Pulled over car shook. Turned off. Back on 15 minutes later. Happened 5 more times in heavy traffic. Dealership said tgey fixed it, but problem persists. Same code: Check fuel fill inlet. Car only 3 years old. What a joke. No more Ford for me and the Ford Motor Company has been terrible!
