After taking my 2002 Windstar in for last two recalls to Golf Mill Ford in Niles Ill where it was supposed to be fixed when put in reverse the engine shifts and excelerates scared the hell out of my 12 year daughter and 3 year grandson and almost taking my neighbors car but scraping there tree also brake light come on goes off check engine light stays on, Talked to service manager he told me it would have nothing to do with work performed Bull it just so happens things start going wrong the day after was told it may be avacume leak, that would cause engine to shift and excelerate?
When parked, stopped by using foot brake or driving at a slow speed, turning the steering wheel in any direction causes the engine to rev up and van to surge quickly without warning.
