The fan for the heating & ventialation works intermittently. This condition is inconvenient at most times, but dangerous when the front defroster is needed. On 1/14/99 while driveing through freezeing rain, the front defroster stopped working which nearly resulted in an accident because of the impaired visiblity. Hitting road bumps will turn the fan off.
