Persistent burning of headlight bulbs. Numerous headlight bulb changes, wiring changed, housing changed, and light continues to burn out. Numerous owners of this year and model reporting the same occurrence. Very time consuming, costly, and irritating especially when cops become involved and hand out tickets.
The contact owns a 2010 GMC Sierra 1500. The contact stated while driving approximately 45 mph, the low beam headlights were activated and failed to illuminate. The contact engaged the high beam headlights and continued driving. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the issue. The approximate failure mileage was 50,000.
