I purchase this vehicle in the winter of 2020 with 72,000 miles on it. The first thing I noticed was the heaters on the seat cushions of both seats didn't work. The back cushions worked fine, but the seat cushions were the problem.
I found a YouTube video that explained how to remove and replace them, but it seemed like it was too much trouble, and the cost of having the dealership fix it was too costly...approximately $400 per seat.
I feel the GMC manufacturer should have designed these seat heaters to last longer.
