- Grease or sealant visible on steering gear - should not be interpreted as leak. Some customers or technicians may comment on seeing grease or sealant on certain locations of the steering gear. The illustrations below include arrows showing the areas on the steering gear that the supplier intentionally applies sealing grease. Any of these locations have the potential of showing visible grease under normal operation.
