I have a 2015 GMC Yukon XL that has 77,756 miles on it and I take it to get services as needed. I turned it on to use it and I hear this noise coming from the engine. I scheduled a service appointment to get it checked out and it turns out that after a week they come back and tell me that it’s the cams and lifters. Not knowing the cost I asked how much will it be to get them fixed and they tell me that it’s $11,546.88 parts and labor or a new engine for $12,422.
We pay so much money for these new vehicles and for what if everything is so expensive to fix… but not just that my thing is that how can a vehicle that get the maintenance done as needed at a dealership can just mess up like nothing and it doesn’t even have 100 thousand miles on it. I hope that no once that the same issue as I do. Another thing is when you go to a dealership the sales person does not tell you... Well FYI if you buy this car, parts for the vehicle will cost you and arm and a leg.
