The vehicle's brake pedal gets harder and harder to press in low speed situations or in stop and go traffic which causes the vehicle to not slow down or stop. My wife was commuting to work when the problem reared its head. Then, later that afternoon it happened again when she was bringing our kids to an after school activity. The vehicle wouldn't stop and hit the curb into the parking space. If there was no curb, she would have went right into the retailer's window. Vehicle is now parked and not being driven. So much for feeling safe and seeing value for a $60k+ truck, right?
We are going pursuing all avenues to get this problem diagnosed, reported and shared with other owners as it presents a potentially dangerous situation for a vehicle that is often full of people.
