GM just announced a big recall today (1/29/2026) and it involved a faulty fuel pumps on a variety of GM full size SUV's include the 2021 GMC Yukon SLT. I was inches from sending a purchase wire to a GMC dealership in Houston when I got a call that this recall was announced internally on GM GlobalConnect which stopped my transaction as they can't sell a used car if there is an active recall. Now they are saying the updated part may be back ordered and they aren't exactly sure when it will come in. This is still developing but it sounds very much like recall #21V739000 and is related to many of the car complaints I read on this site where the engine suddenly quits when driving.
