A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

MY YUKON DIED WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD TWICE IN A DAY, NEARLY CAUSING 2 ACCIDENTS BEFORE I GOT IT HOME. 3 WEEKS BEFORE THE SAME THING OCCURRED AND I TOWED IT TO THE DEALER. THEY SAID IT WAS THE BATTERY AND CHARGED ME $220 DOLLARS TO REPLACE IT. THEY SOLD ME A BATTERY THAT WAS NOT MADE FOR A HYBRID VEHICLE. SO I TALKED TO THE SERVICE MANAGER AND THEY FINALLY INSTALLED THE RIGHT ONE, AN AGM BATTERY MADE FOR HYBRIDS.

I ONLY HAVE 119000 MILES AND THE DEALER SAYS I ALSO NEED A NEW TRANSMISSION BECAUSE THE HYBRID ELECTRIC MOTOR INSIDE THE TRANSMISSION IS COMING APART AND NO ONE WILL REPAIR OR REBUILD THEM SO YOU HAVE TO BUY A NEW ONE FOR A COST OF OVER $5000.00 DOLLARS. THEN THERE IS NO GUARANTY THERE ARE NOT MORE ISSUES BECAUSE THE HYBRID BATTERY COULD BE SHOT DUE TO THE ELECTRIC MOTOR FAILURE AND IT COST OVER $3000.00 AND THEN THE MODULES COULD BE BAD WHICH THERE ARE 2 OF THEM FOR A COST OF AROUND $800 TO A $1000.

THIS YUKON COST $47000.00 WHEN PURCHASED NEW AND I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT GMC WOULD MAKE A PRODUCT THAT FALLS APART AND COST SO MUCH TO REPAIR. NO WONDER THE GOVERNMENT HAD TO BAIL THEM OUT. IF I HAD NOT BOUGHT MY WIFE A NEW 2018 EQUINOX I KNOW I WOULD NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER GM PRODUCT. THE MOTOR IS STRONG AND RUNS GREAT BUT ONCE THE HYBRID FALLS APART THE MOTOR AND CAR ARE USELESS.

THE DASH BROKE APART LIKE A CRUMBLING SALTINE CRACKER THEY SAID IT WAS BECAUSE OF HEAT AND THEY NEVER FIXED THAT. THIS CAR HAS BEEN SO WELL MAINTAINED I CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY IT IS NOW DYING. TALKING TO GMC THEY SAID THERE ARE NO RECALLS AND IT IS OUT OF WARRANTY BUT THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO CALL ME BACK IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. I KNOW THERE ARE MORE YUKON OWNERS WITH THE SAME SITUATION AND SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT.
