been reading up on this and I think its due to the factory Torque setting on the Rocker Bridge. They leave too much clearance and then it loosens and creates a loud knock - something they have never admitted to in a recall or "secret warranty". These Crosstours are great cars until multiple engine problems arise ... repair costs are high and resale drops significantly.
