First of all, I have owned 6 hondas in my life. I have driven two to the junkyard as they were falling apart around the engine. I gave two away to relatives, one was traded in on a new car and the other was driven to the junkyard. I currently own 2, an odyssey and an accord hybrid touring. The Accord hybrid is the only vehicle I have ever purchased new. It is top of the line and we love it however, with 75,000 miles on the vehicle and regular maintenance, the head gasket failed and I have been quoted $5600. I've read that Honda has an ongoing head gasket issue where the coolant collects in a groove and erodes the head gasket. There is even an attempted class action lawsuit...Since its not a "safety issue" there won't be a recall. Honda needs to keep their respected image and refund the cost of these repairs especially since it seems they knew about the issue. Not happy with Honda right now. We'll see about my loyalty going forward....
