I noticed that the paint was peeling off of the roof of my Civic in large white circles about 2 months ago. It seemed like overnight the roof was suddenly missing half of its paint. I wash and wax my car regularly and I don't live anywhere with out-of-the-ordinary amounts of blazing sunlight so I was pretty shocked to see this happening. Before this car I owned a 20-year old Civic with its original paint job still in perfect condition.
It's certainly a relief to see so many others sharing my problem but it also leads me to believe that Honda isn't doing a thing to fix it. I'm about to check with my dealer (and, likely, the national complaint department) today so here's hoping that they acknowledge what a ridiculous issue this is and take it on themselves to fix it under the warranty.
