My driver seat somehow came loose on the back right side of the driver's seat. The seat then would rock back and forth. My seat broke to where I could not adjust my seats. I was very lucky I didn't have to adjust my seat to reach my pedals or I would have been screwed. These seats brand new cost about $400 to $500. I ended up having to go to Pick-N-Pull and pull a used one off another Honda that would fit in my car just so it was safe for me to drive my car. I cannot afford a new seat for no $500 when this tends to be another defect from Honda that they refused to fix an admit up to. A driver's seat should not fall apart in a car. I have never seen any seats and all the cars I've owned come apart like this before it's ridiculous. Our seats should be on recall because so many people people are having issues with the seats also and it can be dangerous driving I think when the driver seat is broken.

Well with all the other issues I've had with this car, it continues to break down. Cheap clips that hold backing on chair have failed. My beautiful silver bullet is starting to look straight out of the yard from Sanford and Sons.....thanks Honda for standing behind your machinery.

I don't know whether you say it is broken or not but the back of the driver's seat seems to be coming apart. It looks like the right side is gapped open. I have not had it fixed and I am afraid to mess with it myself. It has been like this for a long time. That is right now 5 problems with my car and I have about 68.000 miles on it and I usually drive alone or with another adult. I try to take care of this automobile because I am retired and really can't afford a new one right now but these problems are driving me crazy.

IT LOOKS REAL BAD WHEN YOUR SH*T IS FALLING APART. NOT TO MENTION WHEN YOU HAVE YOUNG KIDS THAT WANT TO SEE WHAT UNDER THE COVER OF THE FRONT SEATS AND THERE IS AIR BAG STUFF IN THERE I THINK IT IS VERY UNSAFE AND THEY NEED TO ADDRESS THIS PROBLEM

I have totally given up hope in my Honda Civic. I hate it. Its a piece of junk. I hope the damn thing gets stolen or blown up, honestly. Its given me headache after headache and that's why I don't care anymore when sh*t breaks inside. I am just ready to murder my car. What is sad is that when I payed for this piece of sh*t it was nice but I hate it so much I want some one to steal it so it can be their problem.

I honestly didn't think that Honda would do anything about it other than offering me a coffee or water, but they put a whole new seat back in. They said their cost was $170, which we all were amazed.

The back of the passenger side seat fell off. The clips that hold it in place failed. The dealer said we must have let our grandchildren kick the seat so we would have to pay for it. Not covered under warranty. We only have 1 grandchild, and she has never been in that car. It is a 2 door, and no one ever rides in back. The clips simply self-destructed, and we got the bill for Honda's inadequate clips.
