Component: Front CV joints making clicking sound while turning. Safety risk: CV joints are critical to maintaining the car's speed and stability on the road, which in turn guards the safety of occupants. Reproduction: The problem is consistently heard while turning. Inspections: The problem is well known across owner forums and Honda is aware of it. Warning messages: None. The problem is mechanical and is manifested through noise during normal driving conditions.
Both front axles began clicking/clunking at 10K miles on the odometer. Taking to dealer to have CVs replaced this week under warranty. Worried that this will be quite expensive and lemon law once the warranty runs out.
CV axel clicking when turning. Most noticeable when outdoor temperature is cold. Also when applying right turn signal and making the turn. After making the turn when the switch goes back to neutral it will bump on the left turn signal and it will signal 3 times causing confusion to other drivers.

Several issues!! When I turn I hear clicking noises. Last night The "Service High Voltage System" warning lights came on. The Interior pieces are falling off my door and the vent on driver side dash. The automatic emergency break is very strong and jerks very heavily when back up. It-??s not turned off!
This vehicle started making a clicking sound at 2000 miles when turning. This is a known issue with the 2024 axels that Honda refuses to fix. I took this in to my dealer and they said it was normal, that all of the 2024 models are making this sound.
Cv joints clicking. Local Honda service department is aware of the problem, but no fix for it. Service high voltage battery with reduced power. This just came up that limits driving. Heater stopped working. Infotainment center will black out on and off every time I turn on the car. Very dangerous when I forget and I-??m backing out of my garage.
When you turn on Reverse at night, the back up camera is so dark it is hard to see if it-??s not fully lit outside by other means. Either the camera needs to be better quality for night viewing or another lighting source should be added to see safely. Thank you.
Clicking noise while truning the vehicle at low speed. The sound seems to be coming from CV joints from front axles. Early on, I did not pay much attention becuase the there were a small number of clicking sound. But as the time has passed, I hear clicking sound has become more prominent.

Leased vehicle 8/31/24, HondaLink app crashed within 45 minutes of leaving the dealership. Spent the next 3.5 months on the phone and emailing regularly with Honda for assistance, updates, or a solution, usually with limited response and no resolution. We were told by Honda to not drive the car until the issue was resolved, but they wouldn-??t take it in to a shop or anything. The issue was resolved 12/13/2024 and it finally worked - and just crashed again. Unfortunately critical updates are sent through the app, so this puts us at risk if an update is available and inaccessible to us due to the app issue. The car also randomly changes settings such as lights, window locks, door locks settings, CarPlay won-??t work, wireless CarPlay does not work, drops phones completely off, slams on the brakes while backing up, and recently started slamming on the brakes going forward with no hazards in sight (reported separately). These issues cause it to be unsafe to drive this vehicle.
Vehicle Make: Honda Model: Prologue Year: 2024 VIN: [XXX] Description of the issue: I own a 2024 Honda Prologue (VIN [XXX] ) with approximately 7,500 miles. I began noticing a clacking or clicking sound when turning the steering wheel fully left or right. There is also visible grease on the inside of the front wheels, indicating a possible failure in the axle system. I took the vehicle to Honda White Plains, where I was informed that the front axles must be replaced. The issue is reportedly covered under warranty, but the dealership is waiting for Honda-??s approval to proceed with the replacement. I am filing this report because I am concerned about potential safety implications related to steering or suspension, and to document this issue in case other owners are experiencing similar failures. When I apply my indicator in one direction and begin my turn, the indicator automatically turns off at a certain point. Immediately afterwards, the OPPOSITE indicator automatically flashes about three times. This happens about half of the time I-??m making a basic 90 degree turn. It has happened regularly since I purchased the car in December of last year. It is a safety issue since the people behind me think I am making a quick left after making a right or vice versa. It seems to be an issue with GM models, and this is a GM build.
Turn signal switch actuator. When engaging in a right turn with the signal on, the turn signal switch will attempt to auto-reset into position where it will regularly engage the left-turn signal 3-blink indication for a lane change. The issue does not occur with every singly turn, but with enough regularity for it to be a very common occurrence on every drive the vehicle takes. On our most recent drive, of approximately 4 miles, the issue occurred 3 times, which was 75% of the right turns made on that trip. Brought the vehicle in for testing and fixes, and was given a loaner vehicle of the same model. Loaner vehicle shares the same exact problem when making right turns. This is a safety issue that should demand a recall, as it is an important safety system to alert other drivers on the road of your intentions. When finishing a right turn and the left signal engages on its own, it can trigger other people to believe you are making a new turn and may confuse them with your intentions on driving, or can occasionally trigger other people to think we are making a left turn when we are not intending to turn at all and they may pull out into the street, and there is no way to cancel the blinks as they are happening. Upon further research, this is a very widespread issue affecting potentially hundreds of thousands of people. When bringing it in for service, it's frequently regarded as a "car quirk" or a characteristic but that is unacceptable as this is a serious safety issue with the car as it is the only communicating factor you have with other drivers on the road.
During my experience with the 2024 Honda Prologue, I have encountered several significant issues related to the vehicle's starter system. Notably, while reversing, the car intermittently engages the brakes as if it detects an obstacle behind it. Additionally, while driving, the vehicle occasionally applies the brakes unexpectedly, presuming that a collision is imminent. Furthermore, I observed a rapid decline in battery power, accompanied by error messages on the dashboard indicating "Service Soon" and "Service High Voltage System.-?? After consulting with a service center, I was informed that no issues were detected with the vehicle. However, I am presently receiving persistent error notifications stating "Service High Voltage System" and "Reduced Acceleration Drive with Care." In addition, the air conditioning system has ceased to function, and I have been unable to charge the vehicle effectively. Each attempt to charge concludes with the message indicating that charging is complete, yet the battery remains at a static level of 91%. These issues present serious concerns regarding vehicle safety. The unpredictability of the braking system could potentially lead to an accident, while a sudden failure of the battery during travel could leave me stranded, endangering myself and others. These examples represent just a portion of the various complications I have experienced, highlighting a significant safety risk associated with this vehicle.
