For nearly 3 years we have been getting between 1000-2000 miles out of an oil change. After that, it is either completely empty or we have to constantly add oil all the time. We keep a case of quarts of oil in the trunk at all times - and oil has gotten more expensive with everything else. Hyundai replaced the engine about 2000 miles ago due to a bearing clearance issue - but the oil consumption issue continues.
