All I can say is this is a danger to have on the road! It lagged so bad I traded the stupid thing in! Would not buy another Hyundai. I still constantly get engine fire recalls and lawsuits in the mail. I traded it for a 2018 Rogue Platinum. Best decision ever. Not 1 issue in 20,000 miles of driving.

Not to mention the Hyundai has HORRIBLE GAS MILEAGE!!! 16 in town and 22 highway. Just a cheaply made shitbox. I guess like they say “you get what you pay for” saving money on a Hyundai is not worth the hassle and time. Especially when the resale value tanks!

Bought the car new in August 2018. It's a 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport with the 2.0 liter Turbo motor. Noticed a problem with the accelerator almost right away. From a stop, on occasion I get a sever lag in the acceleration. Thought maybe it was me at first. Usually happens at the worst time when I'm pulling out into on coming traffic. Very troubling.

I had the car in today for a 6000 mile service / oil change. They told me that it's a common issue. They said that Hyundai America is seeking a solution for this problem. They said it has to do with the transmission and that they may have a temporary fix, however nothing was done.

I'm just wondering if they knew about this issue with these vehicles before they sold it to me last year..???
