I did not notice how low the passenger seat was as I sat in the drivers seat the whole time. my wife did not go with me. When I got home and took my wife for a drive. The first thing she say is "Why is this seat so low, I cant see over the dash". I thought she was just being picky until I sat in the sit. OMG What were they thinking. A fix to me would be to change the seat rails or guides to higher ones. This is the second site that I read about this problem. Yes it is a problem Please fix it Hyundai

I bought this Hyundai Sonata and loved it until I found out my 5'4" wife could not see over the dashboard. She is not unusually small and has never had this problem. She wants me to get rid of the car. She is making me hate it because she bitches every time she gets in about the seat. There is no way to make the seat higher, in fact it is completely different than the drivers side. What went wrong? I would like to know and also what can I do about it. It looks as though they were trying to save a little money on the seat when it was installed. Tell me what I can do to get this fixed properly. Is Hyundai in that bad of condition that they have to short something like a seat. Also we heard there was a recall on the airbag on the passenger side but we never got any notice about it. I AM BEGINNING TO THINK THIS CAR IS A LEMON
