Have had the engine replaced with the recall about the fire. Just did the 2nd recall (3/2019) for possible fire and they said it was fine. Did seat belt recall. Car "bogs down" like fuel injectors not firing properly. I do all service appt's as required, ie. oil changes etc. Tires always rotated....

Interior paint peeling on different areas, back up camera has failed two times, display for music etc. fails to come on even after 2 minutes or backup camera fails to work in reverse, even after had fixed. Door locks don't always work. Air conditioning goes on and off. Car pulls to right, no matter what lane I am in. Yes, I understand the grade in the road to allow for runoff. Married to an engineer/tool and die maker. I get it. Stock tires are switched out to winter tires/rims in November and back in April. Stock tires were worn down to 4/32nds with only approximately 19k miles on them.

Biggest one is that sometimes my vehicle will show "distance to empty" on a completely full tank at 367 miles to empty, then fill up again and it will show 373 miles to empty. I don't think fuel/mileage is ever accurate. Purchased 12/2012 and as of 4/4/19, I only have a little over 39,000 miles on car. I don't beat this car up...baby it. Washed/waxed, vacuumed, DETAILED!! Yep, anal for a woman..Dad taught me well. By far, THE WORST VEHICLE I HAVE EVER OWNED!!!! Would NEVER, EVER recommend to anyone to purchase!! WORST piece of $32k down the drain.

The dealership is ordering and plans on replacing the engine. The Dealership is providing me with a rental but the rental is a compact car. I use my full size for work in which I transport children. In my Sonata I can put three car seats in the rear. This compact car I can barely transport or put two car seats in the rear. They will not provide me with a full size rental until my car is fixed in which this could cause me to lose income. They want me to pay the difference to upgrade to a full size car but I should not have to since my car is part of a recall on engine problems and failure.

no oil, metal n oil

Started with a miss (lack of power when trying to overtake other vehicles) Took to fix at 2 locations (1 being the dealer). 1st place changed spark plugs and a coil. Dealership changed fuel pump with a $1300 repair bill. Car still running rough after that repair. Parked car for about a week, had uncle test with me. Car had no oil. (oil is checked weekly as I drive a distance of 120 miles per day to work) Took car to dealer and was told it was due to no oil. Could not understand since car had oil and had been parked for a week prior to taking to dealership again. Repair now i was told was to replace engine $11,000 dollars. Found this site and see that this is not an uncomon problem. Seems to happen a lot,
