I checked thoroughly to be sure no lights or other accessories were left on. The car had not been driven for only two days. I charged the battery from a charger and it seems to run OK with no malfunctions. I am taking it in to the dealer tomorrow and have it checked out. I suspect it is most likely a faulty battery. I like the car very much and hope it is not a more serious problem.
