Let's just say that I had all the common problems of transmission slippage: An rpm of over 3,500 and acceleration delays. I took it in to the Hyundai dealer and they couldn't "reproduce" the problem. I told them what was happening and that I would not take the car back until they found the problem, which they finally did.
The solution was to replace my old transmission with a used one. My extended warranty only allows for used transmission replacements.
