Greetings everyone! I purchased my '08 Hyundai Tucson about two weeks ago at with around 151K miles on the odometer, air bag light on and broken windshield. All electronics in this vehicle have worked without problem since I purchased my Tucson from the key fab, to the radio, to the lights and engine performance. However, when I stepped out to honk at my dog as I was on my way out of the driveway this morning, no horn sound resonated when I hit the horn buttons. Left horn button and right horn button both didn't work-individually or together. Nothing...I restarted my Tucson once at home and again as I was sitting in the parking lot at work and still no horn sound either time...With my engine turned off, I used the key fab to successfully initiate the door lock horn beeps but the steering wheel buttons still did/do nothing. Strange thing though: as I was hoping out of my Tucson to head inside to start my work day, my hand hit the horn button and my car honked! I was so excited that I tried honking again but to no avail...based on other's comments, my horn may or may not work again in short time...I plan to take my Tucson back to Midas sometime this week as they ran diagnostics on my airbag last week to address my always on, driver's airbag warning light...I hope my driver side airbag still works despite this warning light not currently illuminated on my dash...Something's fishy in Denmark...

Update from Jun 4, 2018: Only a few hours (or fewer hours) after my initial posting, I walked outside to my vehicle to test my Tucson's horn just for kicks and giggles. The horn sounded instantly and in a manner as one would expect under normal operating conditions as I hit both steering wheel buttons. No maintenance, airbag or other warning lights illuminated, but something's still fishy...I'll update this page if problem occurs again...
