Used BlueLink App to start my 2022 Hyundai Tucson Limited to take my grandson to school bus stop. I came back unsuccessful. Twice. Went outside, got in car, stepped on brake and hit the start button. NOTHING. No sound, lights on dash came on message Shifter system malfunction service immediately. Waited a few minutes tried again, same message. Called Roadside Assistance. Car was delivered to dealership by 10:45 am. Called at 3:30 no update, they were just starting to look at it. Called back at 4:30 and service advisor finally got on the phone to say Hyundai has reported a problem with the shifter and instructions on how to fix it but they haven't finished it. He's not even sure the fix will fix it. So now I have no car and won't even know until tomorrow around 11:00 AM the status of my car. So much for reliability, the car has less than 7,000 miles on it. Between low MPG and now this, I wish I had never bought this car.

Bought 2022 Hyundai Tucson Limited 4/24/2021. I do not drive a lot, so my mileage is always lower than average and as of 3/28/2022 I had approximately 6600 miles on it. Brought car in 3/28 due to an MIL message I received indicating a Malfunction indicator. Asked that they check things out and also check for any problems related to gas mileage. I receive less than 20 miles per gallon around town. Usually 18 mpg. Granted I live on top of a long gradual hill so every time I go out I have to come back up this hill. Previous car got better mileage and other cars in the household get very good mpg. As for MIL they claim due to an ice storm we had that froze something, which I guess is possible. As for MPG, live with it, it's probably the best I'm going to get and car was still in break in period even though manual says break in is 4,000 miles.

REALLY?????? So much for customer service. I will say mpg on highway is really good. On a trip to NC I averaged 30 MPG. However around town estimated is advertised at 24 mpg. The only way I even average 20 mpg is if I use 1/2 tank of gas on a highway but I shouldn't have to do that in order to get better mpg. If you're looking for good mpg don't buy the 2022 Tucson. I had 2012 Tucson that got better mpg than this one 10 years later. I thought cars are suppose to get more fuel efficient. Looks like Hyundai blew it with this one.
