My 2024 Hyundai Tucson has never adequately cooled the cabin during hot weather, since the day I got it. I park outdoors daily since I don't have a garage or carport, so the heat exposure is significant, and the AC noticeably struggles to keep up on hot days. For comparison, my previous car, a 2016 Hyundai Sonata, cooled significantly faster and colder under similar conditions, so this isn't just me expecting too much from a Hyundai in general.

I first brought it to CMA's Hyundai of Lynchburg on July 9, 2025 to report the issue. The dealership tested the AC and told me it was working fine, with no fault found. Over a year later, on August 11, 2026, I brought it in again with the exact same complaint. Once again, they tested it and said it was blowing air at the correct temperature, with no fault identified.

So twice now, over about 13 months, I've reported the same issue and been told nothing is wrong, but the AC still doesn't cool the car the way it should on hot days. It's not dangerous, but it's a real, ongoing quality issue that hasn't been resolved, and it's frustrating to keep bringing the car in only to be told everything checks out fine when it clearly doesn't feel that way from the driver's seat. I'm posting here to see if other Tucson owners are dealing with the same thing.
