Not sure the actual start date or mileage! That said, we purchased the vehicle in Jan 2025 and by mid summer we noted hesitation when slowly accelerating from a stop going to 25 as it is a housing area. Hyundai could not find an issue and was told maybe we are too soft on the pedal. In April 2026 the issue was advanced to be irritating and we dropped off the car so they can drive it when cold. The technician noted the issue and after 3 weeks of troubleshooting the hydraulic valve body was changed. We got the car home and approximately two days later we had jerking during hard accelerations going from 0 to 35. It felt like water in the fuel so I added ethanol shield to remove moisture. The issue continued so we brought it back to Hyundai. Today I was called and told they ordered a transmission and if that does not fix the issue, it is the driver causing the problem.
Footnote: both time we dropped off the car at the dealer, we were provided a 2026 Tucson and I have felt pauses during acceleration in both vehicles. Not jerks, but hesitations just like ours did when we first noted the issue.
