Car has completely failed several times in the middle of busy streets including the freeway on ramp. Jag has replaced the 12v battery once, tried to update software and now the car is totally inoperable. Los Angeles Jag dealer has had the car for 5 months with no definitive communication nor reliable timeline. I have been told the car will be repaired and delivered for months, now they say Jag will not repair but I have not been contacted for the buyback. I need transportation. I need help to get them to expedite and pay me a the fair value.

Failed High Voltage Battery Module, unable to repair. - Initial problem started in 02-2024 - Multiple trips and service appointment reschedules due to technician availability and guidance from Jaguar on how to address - Vehicle was dropped off at the dealer 06-2024 and has been there ever since. - Currently recall now with final remedy of buyback. I have had no communication from the dealer and or Jaguar on time frame or next steps. When calling no one seems to have an answer. I have been in 9 different rental vehicles, and currently have to provide my own means of alternative transportation.

On three separate occasions, two with my wife, and once with me, the car suddenly accelerated as if the accelerator was depressed to the floor even though our feet were no on the accelerator. With my wife driving, she was pulling into parking spaces going 5mph or slower. I was coasting downhill at 40mpg when the car accelerated and the brakes did not respond. We reported each incident to the dealer who said they relayed the information to Jaguar technical support. In all cases Jaguar said they could not find anything wrong with the car and want us to continue to drive it. The last time they asked the dealership to drive the car for 100 miles. We are now afraid to drive the car for fear we will hit and injure some innocent party or harm our selves.
