The contact owns a 2006 Jaguar X-type. While driving approximately 65 mph, the sun roof on the vehicle exploded. There were no warning indicators illuminated before or after the failure. There were no injuries. The contact stated that nothing struck the sun roof to cause the failure. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer to be diagnosed. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The VIN was unknown. The approximate failure mileage was 180,000.
