This time they they just wrote up as a maintenance service and blamed it on being low on fuel. I had a 1/2 tank when dropped off and then a little less when picked up.
It began in 2019 the vehicle had about 5,000 miles. I was on the highway going from El Paso TX to Carlsbad, NM. The vehicle started messing up while I was driving up the mountain on the road. It sent several computer messages saying to check the transmission the engine and cooling system. I stopped on the shoulder and the vehicle started cranking when I would try to put it on drive. It would have been costly if I had it towed. I waited about an hour and it started switching gears smoothly again but the messages on the dash were the same. The Dodge dealer in Hobbs, NM said the compass has had these issues but luckily just a bad signal from the computer.
This next issue has been on and off but stayed on around September first. It was the real issue. The auto start was not functioning. On the highway going into town at a stoplight, the vehicle would not accelerate and was going 14 miles an hour. I had to stop in a small plaza and shut it off and on several times until it started working again. I sent it to Bill Luke in Phoenix AZ and will see what they say.
