Power window failure on driver side window. I also had a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the exact same problem and had to have a new motor and regulator costing $500. After researching on the internet, this is a common problem for Jeep and they have not addressed the issue, still selling the defective part with no modifications to correct issue.
