Like all of the other Jeep owners who complained about the inability to turn this feature off, I am very displeased with the 'Auto Parking Break' feature. There are times when I need to open the door while going in reverse but I can't. The fix is getting out, fasten the seat belt, get back in and make the maneuver.
The people at Daimler Chrysler have perfected the ability to take an easy problem and make it difficult to solve and take a difficult problem and make it impossible to solve.
