- Summary
- Flash: Body Control Module (BCM) Updates This bulletin involves reprogramming the BCM with the latest available software. The customer may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find the following Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC). When the ambient air temperature sensor voltage goes to 0 volts (shorted to ground), the BCM sets a P0073 - Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit High for this condition. The BCM should display P0072 - Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low instead. The customer may also experience one or more of the following:Battery voltage in cold weather failing to initiate remote start due to voltage drop after ignition on3.0L Diesel (Sales Code EXF only). Remote start does not work first attempt, always works on the 2nd attempt issue3.0L Diesel (Sales Code EXF only).
