I left work 2 days ago and noticed my car was making a knocking noise. I immediately pulled over. I hadn’t even made it out of the parking lot yet. Oil level was fine. Just recently had it changed. Had my car taken to a repair shop to find out the noise was coming from inside the engine. Kia has a recall for the very same thing that my car is doing. The recall is for the same year and same model but because my car is a hybrid, they will not replace the engine. A meeting engine is at least $4000 not including labor!! My car has less than 130,000 miles. Kia will not stand behind their vehicles even when they know they are bad.
