Dash board sticky and cracking. Dash feels like glue is on it and getting worst.

Backing out of driveway (in motion) into a city street, car stopped abruptly and would not start again. Immediately warning lights vcs, brake and ABS showed on panel. The ABS control module was replaced 6/25/20 costing me $2,708.36 (invoice attached). In March (03/06/20) I paid $2,014.96 for tires and brake replacement (invoice attached). That's a total cost of $4,723.32. I feel scammed because I think the brake job in March created the problem for the ABS to malfunction and it should not have been my responsibility to replace it. Please reply if possible. I'm reporting issue to Lexus Corp also. I read on a post that the ABS module rarely needs replacing. Thank you for your help.

Lexus issued a recall for several interior parts on my make and model of vehicle as well as others for several years that were made with a faulty interior product which actually melts. There are a couple of parts made of the same material doing the same thing that were not included which I believe should've been. As you will see from the pictures these items are also melting. I have reached out to Lexus but they advised they would not be willing to assist. This was a $70K car. Please help in making sure the manufacturer takes care of this. The steering wheel center is also melting and sticky as well. The date entered below is approximate because it has been happening of a course of time but that's approximately when it first started

The door panels and dashboard gets sticky during warm days. Also, it has peeled easily when barely scraped. Other Lexus models have already been recalled for same issue.

All four interior door trim panels, center console, and dash on my 2008 Lexus LS460 are melting, cracking and admitting a foul odor causing nausea. Toyota issued a warranty enhancement bulletin covered by the customer support program ZE6 but only included the 2007 LS460. Having done research, other owners with the same 2008 LS460 model through the 2014 LS460 models are having the same issue. Toyota is refusing to cover the repairs as "not enough complaints have been filed". my vehicles in use date was September 23, 2008. I was told in early June 2018 by a local dealership service employee my car would have the trim panels, center console and dash replaced but when I called Lexus care I was told it was not included and would not be covered as "not enough claims have been filed for my year model". seeing as how Toyota replaced them on the 2007 models, they should be required to issue a recall for the remaining year models that are having the same issues.

I put my 2 year old in the car seat, strapped her in, put my bag (with the key fob) on the backseat and after visually confirming that the drivers door is unlocked closed the back door with my child inside. In the time it took me to walk around the car to the driver's seat all four doors somehow locked down. With both the key fob and my child inside the car; in the middle of the summer in Texas. Lexus is supposed to have a safe lock feature that prevents the car locking while keys are inside but this clearly failed. Luckily we were parked in a garage and my husband was able to come in 20 min with the spare key; otherwise tit would have been much worse.

Defective actuator and pump.this is a common problem with models ranging between 2007 and 2013. This is a problem known to Lexus and they were taking care of it as and when complaints were made.this is a safety issue and believe that Lexus should make a recall and remedy.

My car has a sticky dashboard and door panels as well as the black button that opens the trunk when the weather is hot or humid. Anything that is made of that material is sticky and gets this weird black stuff everywhere. The shiny reflective surface that the dashboard is a safety hazard for myself and other drivers. Every time I get in my car I cough, so I am afraid that harmful chemicals may be emitted. Please help investigate!

(hesitation on acceleration) this morning going to work L notice that the car wasn't acting right. I was at the yield left turning lane was turning right before other incoming car come. As I was turning the acceleration didnt go no where as it feel like the car was going up a very high hill. I was so scare that another car coming stright and hit me and some how the acceleration just pick up and start going as it has no power to it. The only reason why im reporting this is because this is a very and could be an dangerous problem not to myself but other to and I have search up this problem on the web and there alot iof people that have this problem beside me. Is there anything your can do to resolve this problem? I dont want to have to drive an Lexus and have to deal with this headache.

This automobile many inside plastic panels are melting liquefying and we are very concerned that are releasing toxic fumes. It is my wife's car and she has a lot of cough this year, contacted Lexus/Toyota and they say are not toxic, but we do not believe them, please find correspondence for the last several months. We ask you if you have a laboratory where this car can analyse the air interior, we found one but they want to charge $750 to do the test. Toyota the manufacturer of this Lexus has no credibility with us, they use plastic compounds in production without the minimum testing and this is the end result. Sudden, loud, high-pitched, repetitive, chirping noise while my wife was driving on a freeway. She was frightened and felt forced to take her eyes off the road to check the instrument panel. She nearly struck another car. The problem turned out to be due to a failed radio amplifier. The loud noise had persisted even with the radio off.
