When I bought the vehicle used I ran an internet check for recalls. None were found. It didn't occur to me to try complaints. I even called the dealer it was originally purchased from and was told "no recalls"

Friday 8/16/19 without warning or an oil light coming on the engine ceased. I checked and found all the oil gone. Had to have it towed to my mechanics shop.. Oil cooler hose had a hole and oil pumping out when we added oil at the repair shop. Yes! The oil cooler hose problem.

This problem is something that shows any potential customer that Toyota /Lexus really does not give a hoot about the public or whether they take a financial loss. They did a recall until 2013 when their warranty responsibility expired. Then to hell with the consumer, they terminated the recall. No warning, nothing.

I can tell Lexus/Toyota this: Your company will never again get a sale from any member of my family or their friends and I will tell my story to anyone who will listen.

It's not the vehicle that makes me angry, its the rotten attitude of the people who run the company and some day Toyota will be a second rate automobile because of your attitudes.

All the reasons why Lexus never "contacted you" is BS. I had a LEASE with them and I was never contacted. The ridiculous part is that it WAS TECHNICALLY THEIR OWN VEHICLE!!!

They had multiple phone numbers, home and work address and NOTHING.

The oil cooler line busted in my wife's Lexus RX 350 and within one mile all the oil drained from her car and the engine blew. Lexus has known about this issue with the oil line and will do nothing for me. The vehicle went from a trade in value of around 10k to 500 dollars without an oil or engine light coming on.... I called both the corporate office and the dealership and all they could say is sorry! I will NEVER buy Lexus again. Would love to sue them!

Bought the RX350 3 years ago from a Dodge dealership. Until this event only replaced the alternator. While Coming back from vacation on I 75 just north of Knoxville Tennessee we heard a knocking sound from the engine. Turned the engine off that moment 4 ways on and costed off the highway. When I opened the hood I could smell and see the issue, OIL. I had some oil with me and put it in because the dipstick was bone dry. We had filled up with gas this morning and I always check the oil, it was fine then. With the dipstick only half full I started again and to my surprise no knock. I gently drove to the next exit 2 miles way. Advance Auto Parts had and filter and oil which I changed in the parking lot. At this time I had no idea what was going on and why the leaking. When I looked at the filter my heart sank, it looked like a Bomb went off, steel parts all over. When we started it oil was Coming out of the hose. The Toyota dealership was a mile away and they were very helpful but did not mention about a recall on the Lexus hose. It was only when I posted the the issue on face book a mechanic friend told me about the recall on the hose.

I called lexus to ask why I never got a letter about the recall and they said it was because I never called and told them I was the new owner. They had no address to mail it to. This is where I stand now. Still looking for answers but in the mean time my Lexus RX 350 is in Knoxville about to be auction off for a tenth of what it's worth and I have no car. NICE

Drove home and this morning I saw oil again not that much, it wasn't spiting out like yesterday , maybe there's no oil left added 1 quart. have to go to mechanic tomorrow

I was on the way to gym for an early Saturday morning workout with the wife and son when I noticed the smell of burning oil. At first, I thought it must be another vehicle because our '07 Lexus RX350 only has 73,500km, but when I got out of the vehicle there was a huge pool of oil under the engine bay. I called the CAA immediately and had the vehicle towed to the nearest Lexus dealer where is sits. I was lucky that this did not happen on the highway as I'm certain the engine would have seized. I bought the Lexus because of their reputation for reliability. What a joke, my '02 Nissan Maxima has 235,000km without any major problems and I still drive it daily. I searched the internet and this apparently is a common problem for this engine. Toyota should issue a recall. It's a disaster waiting to happen. This will be my last Lexus/Toyota product.
