Engine light flashed, came back with a code P0308, which is a miss fire in the number 8 cylinder. Thought it would either be the spark plug, coil or even fuel injector. Turned out that the piston rings were shot. $9,000 to rebuild engine. So not knowing if it would be built correctly, I just got rid of it. Been on lots and lots of websites and they all say the same thing. This is a common problem because of the heads. Ford didn't fix the problem till late 2004. Ford knows of this problem and should help their customers to fix the problem at a discounted price.
