The contact owns a 2014 Mazda Cx-5. while reversing the vehicle, the brakes made noise. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that water entered and caused the calipers to rust. The brakes were destroyed. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure was not remedied. The failure mileage was approximately 42,000.
