In 2014, Mazda extended the warranty on the 2007-2013 CX-9 brake booster to 7 years / 90,000 miles. However this extended warranty has expired for most CX-9 owners, so buyer beware.

However it is a safety issue when the brake booster fails as it increases stopping distance. Sunroof leaked like a sieve when going through (any) type of car wash. Dealer replaced seal under warranty. Fixed the problem but I can tell that it's only a matter of time before the new seal wears out as well. Can already hear a whooshing noise from the sunroof as the car is dried in the wash. Sooner or later water will (once again) come raining down.
