TSB Document:

Affected Component: EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL

Summary
SOME VEHICLES MAY EXHIBIT A RATTLING NOISE FROM INSIDE THE FRONT DOOR WHEN THE DOOR VIBRATES WHILE DRIVING OR WHEN THE AUDIO SYSTEM BASS IS TURNED UP. THIS IS CAUSED BY A WORN PAD (A) ON THE WINDOW REGULATOR CABLE FROM REPEATED OPERATION OF THE WINDOW GLASS (B) GOING UP AND DOWN. THE CABLE THEN DIRECTLY CONTACTS THE WINDOW GLASS WHEN RECEIVING VIBRATIONS, CAUSING A RATTLING NOISE.
