I went to an auto dealership knowing I wanted a Mazda3. I test drove a 2015 with Skyactiv technology but there was some internal cosmetic damage that I did not want. The 2015 drove smooth. they introduced me to a 2013 with the same skyactiv technology. The intern who drove with me noticed the same vibrations as I did, especially on left hand turns but an overall vibration more noticeable at top speeds. He said he believed it was a tire issue. I knew I wanted a Mazda and the sales person convinced me they would have it taken care of; probably just a tire out of balance. The next day I returned, took it out and still experienced the issue; the sales person said he had not realized that they had not looked at the car (a CPO btw) which was an oversight on his part as he saw they had detailed it, something they typically do after a repair. He apologized and said they would take care of it. I mentioned that I had read about poor engine mounts and the mechanic said he was sure it was not that and would replace the tires. The next day I asked a friend to come with me, his gf, another friend of mine came too. We all went out in the car. The left hand turns were better, they had put on a new tire but still the vibrations, though they felt duller. *Note they only replaced one tire, not all like the mechanic had said to the one rep and said they were "bad tires".

I now think that the weight of 4 people in the car dulled the vibrations. My friend has a 2014 and thought it felt like his when he drove. However, when it was just me driving it home I felt the vibrations at all speeds, braking, accelerating, and at a steady speed and really felt the road, every bump and even vibrations on newly paved roads. The idle is not extremely rough, almost feels like a reverberation every few seconds. Barely noticeable visually except for on a thread hanging from my bag in the passenger seat but can definitely feel it in my seat and at the pedal. Happens whether the car is cold or warm... driving for 10 minutes or after driving for four hours... it doesn't matter. This morning, driving on the main thruway to work was the worst drive I have ever experienced in any car on that thruway in all the years I have driven on it, my lower back hurt from he jostling. I took video on my phone of my bag in the passenger side of the vehicle vibrating. I have contacted the sales guy once again.

When I first noticed the issue I had mentioned and showed the one intern the forums that discussed tightening the engine mount or bad engine mounts and the mechanic told him that he was certain it was not that. I should have insisted on being present during the conversations.
